Rebecca's Big Day

To all the ladies at WM,

Here are a few photos from my wedding day back in September! Thank you so much for all your help and advice for mine and my bridesmaids dresses (including my little flower girl's Lorna May dress!)
You are all so lovely and it was an absolute joy everytime we came into the shop! Lorna you are amazing I can't thank you enough for putting up with my indecisiveness!! Thank you for turning something that I was nervous about into an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and will never forget!!

Huge thank you once again Rebecca and family xx

Rebecca was an absolute beauty... inside and out. She was super sweet, beautiful and had such a lovely, close knit family who always came to the store. I'll always remember the day she stepped into White Mischief, confused and not sure what she was looking for in her wedding dress... and consequently she put it on the back burner and opted to find bridesmaid dresses first... but we worked our white mischief magic on her and got her an idea for colours and themes for the wedding, and then the wedding dress hunt was on! The first dress I showed Rebecca was the Monica dress by Augusta Jones. It was just a 'bang on the dot' pick for her! A beautiful soft lace top with nipped in waist and full organza skirt. a dress that is so classic, elegant and of course very timeless.

Rebecca actually finished the appointment preferring another dress, but upon returning for a second appointment and deciding between a Naomi Neoh dress from our store and another dress from somewhere else she was utterly confused! So I got her back to square one and told her to re-try the Monica dress. We added the idea of 3/4 sleeves and a pretty satin edged veil which complimented it so well. And actually, it then became evident that this was 'thee dress' for Rebecca.

We saw Rebecca various times, for measuring, bridesmaids, accessories appointments and fittings too! For the finishing touches we added Jenny Packham accessories too which looked amazing in her gorgeous dark hair!

She'd also purchased her fab Dessy bridesmaid dresses and Lorna May bespoke flower girl design and everything was really coming together. Every time she and her family walked through the shop it was as if they became part of our White Mischief Family!

You come across all walks of life working in a bridal boutique. You hear family stories, happy stories, sad stories, funny stories, and brides of all sorts of backgrounds and futures. Rebecca was a bride who was so down to earth and a pleasure to have as company. She's currently on the hall of fame... her 'thank you card' sat proudly on the office wall. And it's always such a pleasure to know that we've made someone so happy, and equally they made our day too.

With warmest wishes to all the family and of course the happy couple.

Lorna and all the WM team x
